Story about me

I am a mother, wife and business owner.

My business allows me the time to be the first two roles first.  Unlike previous jobs that told me that I must be a consultant first.  It’s easy to be a consultant first and mother and wife second and third.  But it’s more rewarding to do it the other way around.

In numbers, it’s like this:

That’s because I spent most of my time on my work: after hours, travelling, learning, late night overtime.  Being in the IT business, it was easy to do.  Being a workaholic, it’s easy to do.  

Owning my own business affords me the time and opportunity to be a mother and wife first and somehow have time for my business and me.  Me-time.  A never-before heard concept.  Nowadays, my time looks more like this:

Much more balanced, don’t you think?

It means that I have more time to cook a healthy meal for my family.  I do more in terms of being a mother and a wife.  A boss would never let me have this.  I work in IT after all.
